Why Bamboo
Bamboo viscose is the reason our sleepwear feels the way it does. Here is what it actually does.
Softness you can feel through a onesie
The fibre is smooth and rounded rather than scaled, so it glides over skin instead of catching on it. On a newborn, that difference shows up as less fussing at nappy changes and easier dressing.
Temperature regulation
Bamboo viscose wicks moisture away from the skin and lets air move through the fabric. Babies run hot when they sleep, and overheating is both uncomfortable and a known risk factor — a breathable layer helps keep the cot climate steadier.
Stretch without sagging
The natural give means garments go on easily and stay put, without the bagging you get from some cotton knits after a few washes.
Kind to sensitive skin
Because the surface is smooth and the fabric is breathable, bamboo viscose is a common choice for babies who react to rougher textiles.
REVIEW: do not publish eczema, hypoallergenic or medical claims unless you hold the evidence for them. General comfort and breathability language is safe; health claims are not.
The honest caveats
Bamboo viscose is not indestructible. It prefers cold water, low heat and no fabric softener. Treated well it lasts for years and through several children; treated like heavy cotton it will pill.
